Counter Strike New Revealed

Valve finally announced Counter Strike New after weeks of rumors. It's a major update to CS:GO which will put it on the Source 2 engine.

It also introduces sub-tick server update and smoking grenades that are responsive. It's got plenty of casual gamers going wild but it looks like a huge improvement for the average player.

Smokes

Counter Strike New is getting an overhaul that will fundamentally alter the smoking system used in the game. These changes, known as responsive smokes, will be a game changer. Smokes will expand to fill up spaces naturally and move around different objects on the map. They will also respond to the lighting in the games, making them look more realistic. In addition to these new features, smokes are now be capable of interacting with gameplay events and will offer new tactical opportunities. For instance, bullets can cause smoke to temporarily make clear sightlines, while Hex grenade explosions will disperse smoke to block sightlines.

Smokes will now be more dynamic in the game. Smokes in previous versions were a fixed shape that was limited in terms of how far they could be pushed and how much vision it blocked. The smokes are now able to expand to cover the space they're within and take up more of the player's view when they are within it. This is a significant improvement that will increase the speed of play and provide both teams with the same visibility.

In addition to this smokes are now able to react to the environment as well as weaponry and lighting in the world. This will make smoke more realistic and give players different ways to use it to gain an edge over their opponents. This is particularly beneficial in the chaotic 5v5 games which are bound to occur on every map.

Smokes are no longer one-way. This was a major issue in CSGO, since it allowed players to see the location of their opponent behind the smoke. Twistzz, a popular CS:GO professional, says the new system is an enormous improvement for competitive CS2 and makes it more fair for both teams.

Other minor improvements include adjusting the vertical location of smoke particles in order to minimize the possibility of seeing through edges, and also updating spectators' smoke overlay images to reflect their camera's position. The expiration time of smokes was updated to be more in line with the visuals of how they fade on the screen.

Loadouts

CS: GO players are now able to alter their weapon selection prior to the start of each game. The revamped loadout system allows players to select the weapons that best match their playstyle and team's strategy. The updated system also adds new tactical depth to the game, since players must be able to balance firepower and utility.

In addition to the brand new loadouts in addition to the new loadouts, the CS: GO update includes a number of other improvements and changes. The buy menu was completely redesigned. The old buy wheel has been replaced with an adjustable grid that shows all purchase options simultaneously. The grid has been filled with five pistols as well as five "mid-tier" weapons like submachine guns and shotguns as well as five rifles and carbines.

The new system is simple to use and will give players greater control over their weapon choices. It will allow them to select the weapon that best fits their playstyle, team strategy and try out various combinations. They can also compare their loadouts with other players and observe how they stack up.

While many players appreciate the flexibility it offers, some have criticized it for deviating from the core essence of Counter-Strike. There have been concerns about how it could affect the specific loadouts for maps and skins of agents that are based on visibility.

Despite these criticisms the new loadout method will be tested more extensively in the coming months. It is possible that some of these issues may be addressed in future updates, so it is essential to keep an eye out for further details.

Workshop Tools are included in the update and can be enabled via the settings menu. This allows community members to create weapons finishes and stickers as also maps. The update will also live ban players who violate VAC rules during matches.

The new CS GO update will be released in the coming summer. Players can now check out the full list of features and updates by visiting the official CS: GO site.

Sub-Tick Updates

The server updates the world of Counter-Strike in short intervals of time referred to as ticks. The smallest gap between a tick and a mouse click of a player could influence a shot's accuracy, so Valve is working to make sure that CS: GO is responsive and smooth. A new video highlights the biggest improvements made to the game, referred to as sub tick updates.

Instead of a 64-tick update every millisecond, CSGO is now able to use sub-ticks or, as Valve calls it, "micro ticks", to communicate with servers. The client will take note of each of these tiny increments and send them to the server. The server will then send the updated game state back to players. The servers will now know exactly moment that you shot your shot, jumped, peeked or made other inputs.

While a minute-long video is not enough to cover everything the video explains every piece of data sent by a client has an associated timestamp, and that the server will gather all data from all players in chronological order before sending it back. According to the video, a CS: GO server will now be able to transmit more than twice the data as a 64-tick servers.

This means that even if the game's tick speed goes up to 128 Hz, it will be able to handle your commands instantly and continuously. Micro-tick updates also decrease the time it takes to input by making sure that the server reacts to your commands without delays or glitches.

Valve's technical improvements to the game are just beginning. The company is working on dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve the way smoke interacts with the surrounding and is also updating all maps with high-resolution lighting, textures and models. Source 2 tools and features will be used to upgrade all CS: GO cosmetics and weapons.

Maps

The coming update for Counter Strike New will bring new maps to the game, as well as some classics which are getting facelifts. The updates are currently being tested as part of a limited-test beta. The first set of maps include touchstone and upgrade maps that won't see major changes to gameplay, whereas others have been fully revamped or rebuilt using the new Source 2 tools.

Of these, Overpass was redesigned to make use of the new engine's unified lighting system. The map's eerie underpass is now flooded with daylight which makes the area more spacious and less congested. Additionally smoke grenades are now able to expand dynamically to fill spaces and interact with the new light.

Another map that has been revamped is Italy that has been given a significant overhaul in texture, lighting and structure. The new version is also more balanced than the predecessor which was heavily CT-oriented. In the near future fans can expect to see classics like Aztec and Militia redesigned.

These maps will not be added to the map pool for competitive play despite the fact that they are still playable. Train is the only exception since it was removed from Active Duty but will still be played in tournaments. Valve hasn't yet confirmed whether the other maps that were removed from the pool will be reinstated.

Helsingin Sanomat is the national newspaper of Finland. Its update has been deemed controversial. The news organization has been vocal in its criticism of Russia's actions in Ukraine and the map takes inspiration from the war-torn city of Donetsk. The map is called de_voyna and contains numerous references to the conflict.

In the future the developer will soon be releasing a collection of Source 2 tools for community map makers to utilize in their own designs. This will include features like improved lighting and character read and a physically based rendering system that produces realistic textures, materials, and reflections. https://pediascape.science/wiki/10_Facts_About_CSGO_Cases_Ranked_That_Can_Instantly_Put_You_In_The_Best_Mood will also make real-world objects, like doors and windows, simpler to create. The update is expected to release sometime this summer.
