The Man Down Alarm helps to keep lone workers safe by summoning help in the event of a serious fall.

With over 42% of all workplace fatalities being caused by falling from height, it’s important that employers take steps to prevent falls. https://loneworkerdevices.com/fall-detection/ https://loneworkerdevices.com/ Those who work in risky environments, in remote areas or at dangerous sites, are especially vulnerable to this kind of accident, as they’re unlikely to have someone with them to alert them in the event of an emergency.

Our man down safety device is designed to help people in a situation where they are working alone and may not be able to call for assistance, such as elderly or disabled individuals. It has a panic button (SOS) to help summon help in an emergency and features built-in fall detection.

The fall detection feature on our Man Down device is powered by Bluetooth and connects to the user’s smartphone, triggering a smart-alert to send out to your chosen contacts. The Smart-alert contains the worker’s name, live location and any relevant medical information.

Depending on the specific application, our Man Down device can be worn in a variety of ways, including tight fastened on a belt or clipped vertically on a lanyard. It can also be carried as a pendant or wristwatch, meaning that the device is constantly hitting the person’s body and can trigger an impact or device orientation alarm.

When our Man Down device detects that an individual has fallen and their device is still in a tilted position, a local pre-alarm sounds to give them time to respond before a help call is sent. The pre-alarm will be canceled if the sensor is returned to a vertical position or if the help call button is pressed within thirty seconds of the alarm being activated.
